The Cross Hotels Corporation uses customer personal information for the purposes given below. We do not use personal information for any reason other those stated here without the consent of the customer.

1. To enable us to properly provide service; to respond to customer inquiries; and to handle reservations regarding our company’s business areas, including accommodations, beverages, wedding ceremonies and product sales.
2. To provide customers with information about our facilities, products and services via direct mail or e-mail.
3. To conduct marketing analyses aimed at improving customer service and increasing customer satisfaction.
4. For various administrative tasks essential to the running of the Cross Hotels Corporation.
5. For shared use with other Orix Group companies.

Our company, under the consolidated management of the Orix Group, makes full use of Orix resources in meeting the various needs of our customers. It is towards this end and in accordance with the following guidelines that we share the personal information which we have on file with other Orix Group companies.

Our company ensures the safety of personal information, making sure that all of our executives both understand the laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information and are aware of the necessity for compliance.

Our company has formulated a personal information compliance program that is reviewed regularly with the aim of continuous improvement.

Our company has stipulated internal regulations for handling personal information. Each division and section handles personal information appropriately under the direction of an information security supervisor. Utmost care is taken to ensure that information is not divulged to outside parties. Sufficient security measures are in place to counter illegal access from outside the company, loss, damage, tampering and other potential dangers.

Sharing of Personal Data due to Outsourcing

In order to provide better service, our company may choose to outsource parts of its operation. In some cases, personal information is shared with our outsourcing partners. Our company has established criteria that it uses to carefully evaluate outsourcing partners to determine whether or not they have suitable measures in place for handling personal information, for maintaining confidentiality, for limiting further outsourcing and for preventing the divulgence of customer personal information. Our company will not disclose or provide personal data to a third party without the consent of the customer. However, in the following cases, customer personal data may be provided or disclosed without prior consent.

2. In cases where it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent, but it is necessary to protect a person’s life, to prevent bodily harm or to protect assets.
3. In cases where it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent, but it is necessary for improving public health or for ensuring a safe environment for children.
4. In cases where cooperation with national and local governments or the organizations representing them is required by law and when obtaining prior consent from the customer would hinder the execution of these governments’ or organizations’ duties.

Disclosure, Revision or Deletion of Personal Data on File

Customers may request that the company disclose any personal data that it has on file. We shall respond promptly to any such requests. If there are errors in the personal data on file, the customer may request to have these revised or deleted. If a customer requests to have his or her personal data revised or deleted, the company will promptly examine the matter and, if a valid reason is given, will swiftly revise or delete said information. Please direct all personal information-related inquiries to the number listed below. When a customer contacts us in regards to their personal data on file, they will first be asked to provide personal identification. We may request that customers follow certain, necessary company procedures and pay a service charge.
